About Competishun
Competishun is an IIT-JEE and NEET coaching brand led by Mohit Kumar Tyagi. It runs online and offline courses, structured study material and books for JEE (Main + Advanced) and NEET (UG) aspirants, with live classes, recorded lectures, mock tests and doubt support delivered through its website and mobile app.
The challenge
Online test-prep platforms face sharp traffic peaks — live classes, test windows and result days bring thousands of students online at once, and video lectures make up most of the bandwidth and cloud bill.
Competishun needed a technology partner that could own the platform end to end: keep it stable and fast during peaks, deliver video smoothly to students on every kind of connection, and bring infrastructure costs under control as the student base grew.
